After the Roman empire with its cities dedicated to erotism as a social binder, we have to wait centuries before a city opens itself up to to the joys of sex, even to the excesses, and injustices perpetuated towards women; heroines of their time.
Carampana pays homage to those women who gave out light only to be later subjected to darkness.
